Vice President Kamala Harris, in a speech on the anniversary of the January 6 riot at the Capitol, compared the incident to other dates that “echo throughout history” such as Pearl Harbor and 9/11.
Actually, she didn’t compare the dates, she equated them.
“Certain dates echo throughout history, including dates that instantly remind all who have lived through them where they were, and what they were doing, when our democracy came under assault,” Harris said.
“Dates that occupy not only a place on our calendars but a place in our collective memory,” she continued. “December 7th, 1941. September 11th, 2001. And January 6th, 2021.”
Yes, Kamala just compared Jan. 6th to the Attack on Pearl Harbor and 9/11… pic.twitter.com/8jW0YXqL9a

Kamala Harris: January 6 Just Like 9/11, Pearl Harbor
Kamala Harris’ comments actually echo the mass psychological trauma experienced by Democrats on that day. Psychological trauma that doesn’t nearly match what actually happened.
The comparison has no basis in reality and the comments are unbecoming of a person holding the second-highest office in the United States government.

It is important to remember that a total of five people died during the Capitol riot, but only unarmed Air Force veteran and avid supporter of former President Trump, Ashli Babbitt was killed.
.@VP places January 6 Capitol riot in the category of December 7, 1941 (bombing of Pearl Harbor) and September 11, 2011 (terrorist murder of nearly 3,000 Americans). This is insane.

While only one person was killed on January 6th, Kamala Harris would like you to think it is still such a traumatic event that it ranks alongside historical tragedies like Pearl Harbor and 9/11.
On December 7th, 1941, 2,403 Americans were killed and another 1,178 were wounded in a surprise military strike by Japan at Pearl Harbor.
“Hello, NBC … It is no joke. It is a real war.”

The 9/11 terror attack killed 2,977 people and injured roughly 25,000 people.
The fallout from the attacks was devastating. According to a project out of Brown University, the United States lost nearly 15,000 American lives during the wars in Afghanistan, Iraq, and Pakistan. All told, that same report counts nearly 507,000 casualties from those wars.
In those two tragic national events, 5,380 Americans lost their lives. On January 6th … 1.
It’s pretty crazy that the left actually thinks most of the Trump supporters stormed the Capitol on January 6th. NO! The majority of the day was a beautiful peaceful gathering of Patriots. Most of us didn’t even go to the Capitol. The notion of us being “terrorists” is LOL. pic.twitter.com/sOuznY1piZ

Kamala Harris comparing the January 6th riot at the Capitol to Pearl Harbor and 9/11 isn’t the first instance of absolute hysteria on the left.
Last summer, Lincoln Project co-founder Steve Schmidt inexplicably claimed the riot was “profoundly more dangerous” than 9/11 and “likely to kill a lot more Americans.”
That … isn’t even vaguely accurate.
“The 1/6 attack for the future of the country is a profoundly more dangerous event than the 9/11 attacks,” Schmidt claimed.
“And in the end, the 1/6 attacks are likely to kill a lot more Americans than were killed in the 9/11 attacks which will include the casualties of the wars that lasted twenty years following it,” he added without evidence.

‘Never-Trump’ Representative Adam Kinzinger amped up the rhetoric recently insinuating his work on the select committee investigating the events of January 6 was similar to the way Todd Beamer and the passengers of Flight 93 fought back against terrorists on 9/11.
“People have to stand up and say this is wrong,” said Kinzinger (R-IL) in reference to those downplaying the former President’s role in the riot.
“We’ve got to – if you think about heroics on Flight 93 that saved the Capitol in 2001, it wasn’t Todd Beamer alone,” he continued. “It was everybody standing up and saying we’ve had enough. We’re going to sacrifice ourselves to do this …”
Comparing January 6 to 9/11, whether it’s people like Kinzinger and Schmidt, or Vice President Kamala Harris, is reprehensible to the extreme.
Watch videos of the attack on Pearl Harbor. Watch and recall the attack on America on 9/11. Then watch videos of mostly peaceful protesters at the Capitol objecting to certification of the election.
Which of those are not like the other?
